MatchaVPN: source code for sale

An iPhone VPN client built on WireGuard, with an experimental 0-RTT handshake. The full source code, the MatchaVPN name and icon, and the matchavpn.com domain are for sale. This site holds this description only and contains no code.

What is included

• iOS app (SwiftUI) with a Network Extension, including billing code that is disabled in personal builds
• Go config API with tests
• Terraform and server setup scripts
• macOS menu bar app
• Modified wireguard-go and wireguard-apple (MIT), including the 0-RTT handshake
• English setup README and a license list
• The MatchaVPN name and icon
• The matchavpn.com domain, registered until March 10, 2027

The code is delivered as a new Git repository without history. Personal data, keys and server details have been removed.

What is not included

• Users, revenue or a server
• App Store listing or Apple Developer account
• Exclusive rights to the handshake design. The patent application was abandoned, so no patent comes with this sale

Current status

• No users and no revenue. The app was never released on the App Store
• It has only run on the previous owner's own iPhone
• After sanitizing, the unsigned iOS device build and the Go tests pass
• On-device connection has not been tested since sanitizing, and the server scripts have not been re-run
• You must fill in the YOUR_ placeholders and provide your own server and Apple account
• No independent security audit. Get one before any production use
• The 0-RTT saving is small, estimated at about 5 ms per re-key. The main value is a working codebase, not the speed gain
• Publishing a commercial VPN app on the App Store requires a corporate Apple Developer account (Guideline 5.4)

Terms

• Sold as is, with no warranty and no refund
• Written communication only. No calls
• The seller keeps a private copy for personal use and will not sell or distribute it
• The buyer is responsible for legal compliance, including export rules for encryption software
